Meet Our Veterinarians 

Dr. Villarreal received his degree from The University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998.  He is a native of Miami, Florida but relocated to Port Charlotte upon graduation.  Dr. Villarreal and his wife have 2 sons and enjoy spending time doing family activities such as boating and attending Gator Football games.

Ilene Serentill, DVM

Ilene was born in New York, but moved to Port Charlotte when she was very young.  Upon graduation from Port Charlotte High School she attended the University of Florida where she received a Bachelors of Science in Zoology. She was then accepted into the University Of Florida College Of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated in 1999. Dr. Serentill completed a one year internship, rotating small animal medicine and surgery at Florida Veterinary Specialists in Tampa, Florida. She was in private practice in Boca Raton until 2006, then returned to Port Charlotte where she joined our team. Dr. Serentill is happily married and has two beautiful children of whom she is very proud. She enjoys spending her time with her family, boating, cooking and traveling.
